I am a native of Indianapolis, Indiana growing up on the eastside of the city. A graduate of John Marshall High School. In 1981 I enlisted in the United States Air Force and was discharged with an honorable discharged.

Ive been married for 23 years to my beautiful angel Tryphena Boyd who has been my strength and source of encouragement from the start. She is my friend and constant companion.

I was saved as a child at Bethel Tabernacle under Bishop Owen Young. Later I was ordained and licensed as a Minister of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World in 2003.

I received a bachelor degree in Christian Counseling and another bachelor degree in Biblical Studies. The LORD led me to start New Vision Lighthouse Ministries in July 4, 2010. Only the LORD has kept us and sustained us over the years. The church now resides in the Devington plaza at 46th and Arlington where we desire to become an intricate part of the community by meeting the needs of families and young people.
